Employee-Specific Flag
A setting called 'Employee Specific' is set for each question in a survey. The setting is true by default, and has no impact on what the member sees; instead, it alters the way results are reported.
Where relevant, only answers to 'Employee Specific' questions are used to calculate employee scores. This shows up, among other places, in the Employee monthly report. For instance, imagine a question such as 'How would you rate the lobby area and amenities provided?'. This has no bearing on an employee's performance, and thus the calculation of employee scores would not use answers to this question.
Question Alerts
Scorable questions can be tied to one or more alerts. An alert will detect an exact response to a question, say the lowest score of '1' on a 1 to 5 Likert question, and send an email notification for that response.
For instance, imagine a question such as 'We offer this service, would you be interested in receiving a quote?'. An alert will allow a specific sales person or department email to be notified when this question is answered with a 'Yes'.
Follow Up Email
One scorable question in a survey can be tied to a Follow-up email. This works similarly to question alerts, except it sends an email to the member filling out the survey, and not a particular address. Further, the subject and the body of the email are customizable.
For instance, imagine you have a Net Promoter Score question. This is a rating from 0 to 10. When a member fills out a survey with a 9 or 10, this indicates that they rate your services highly. You may wish to send them a follow-up email informing them of ways they can spread the word about your products, such on Facebook or other social media.
